Yeah, hello.
God, I'm awful at introductions.
So, I'm going to be hanging out in the graphic sections... doing whatever I need to do.
! Important thing I want to note. I've really wanted to increase my er... the kinds of things I do.make. I would like to learn about templates and pre-made skins, and so-such, and perhaps make one myself in the future.
AND I might be asking some really newbish/weird/you-should-know-this-stuff-already questions. Please don't bash me when these questions do come up.
Yeah, so I should stop ranting. It's kinda hard to stop though. That's one of the reasons I joined ProboardsSupport, because on a board so big, I won't really have to introduce myself, because when I do you end up getting a long boring thread that doesn't really say anything.
Er. Yeah. I'll stop now. Now. -sorry ^^"

Hey Lily and welcome here! I think you did a good job with the introduction. If you need to know anything about skins/template designing we're here to help so feel free to ask away. Welcome aboard!

Hopes no one bashes me.
Um... What exactly are renders?
There's a little slice tool in PS CS3. What does it do? (I'm asuming it's some sort of tool that cuts things up. >.<)
Is there an exact definition to "abstract" and "freestyle"?

*no one will bash you* Renders and sprites are images that have a transparent bg. And can use them to add creativity to your sig, avatar or web page. Here's a few helpful sites: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renderplanetrenders.net/Yea PS does have a slice tool and you can cut images out. It can be made for creating websites. I don't use PS that much so I'm not really familiar with it. I'm more of a PSP fan. Freestyle is just a term of saying "create your graphic the way you want." Abstract is a form of nonrepresentational art/graphics. You can't really tell what it is. In the Premades there's a few abstract graphics there. You can even browse some of the threads in PB GDD board to get an idea of how some of these graphics look, and how they're made. Hope I helped!
